- How is the room used -- for relaxing, for work, for entertaining?
- Is the room mostly practical or for show?
- What is functional in the room? What is decorative? Are some objects both functional and decorative?
- How are the walls and floors treated?
- What do you like the most about it? why would you want to spend a summer in it?
